Consulting from his rooms in East Melbourne, Dr Cole strives to provide the support parents-to-be need throughout their pregnancy journey. A practicing obstetrician for more than a decade, Dr Cole can also provide consultation and – where required – intervention for a range of conditions and events such as multiple pregnancies, recurrent miscarriages and high risk pregnancies at Frances Perry House Private Hospital. 

A founding member of the Victorian Fetal Therapy Service (VFTS), Dr Cole has a special interest and deep expertise in fetal surgery, providing treatment in the womb for a number of conditions, including laser surgery for certain twin complications. Dr Cole is available as a private obstetrician for all pregnancies and all parents, from the most challenging deliveries to the least complicated.

An experienced obstetrician passionate about delivering for his patients, Dr Stephen Cole has pursued further training in a range of sub-specialisations including Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) and obstetric ultrasound. Through his work and ongoing research, he strives to deliver the best possible health outcomes to his patients and their children. His involvement in the teaching of medical studies contributes to this, helping to ensure that Australian parents continue to be able to access world-class obstetrics support.
